ABOUT US
Blue Lime Property Maintenance Ltd. was established in July of 2019. It is owned and operated by Doug and Jessica, a husband-and-wife team from West Kelowna.
๐ฟ๐ The Blue Lime Story ๐๐ฟ
How It All Began
We didnโt plan this. Blue Lime started with one contract and two people trying to make things work.
Doug came from oil and gas โ the kind of work that shapes a 24/7 mentality. Jess came from biology โ pragmatic, detail-oriented, and always organized. Together, we covered both sides of the equation: Doug built the service; Jess built the system.
What Happened Next
We said yes โ a lot.
Every time a client asked, โCan you also handle this?โ we figured it out. Over time, that turned into a company that now manages 30+ properties across the Okanagan. But nothing about Blue Lime was built on a grand strategy. It evolved from showing up, paying attention, and doing what real people do โ relate, empathize, and respond.
What We Believe
We believe in keeping business human โ in knowing our clients by name, not account number.
We believe in showing up when others donโt, in keeping promises, and in making property management as hassle-free as possible.
We believe in creating meaningful, enjoyable jobs โ work people can feel proud of and build a life around.
We believe in giving back to the communities where we live and work.
And we believe that when you care about people, invest in quality, and stay true to your word, success takes care of itself.
Where We Are Now
Today, Blue Lime runs with precision and heart.
Weโve built a team and systems designed for fast response times, proactive communication, and zero guesswork. Every property we maintain benefits from redundancy โ if one team member is away, another steps in seamlessly.
Weโve integrated technology that keeps our systems sharp, our reports clear, and our service consistent.
Our goal remains simple: make maintenance effortless for our clients and dependable for their communities.
Our Philosophy
โWeโve built something that feels human. Itโs old-school in how we treat people, and new-school in how we use tech. The sweet spot of modern business is that balance โ staying grounded in real relationships while using technology to make those relationships possible.โ
